| Description: | PROGRAM NAME: First Step Non-residential Advocacy Program JOB TITLE: Survivor Advocate - full time (primarily non-residential) LOCATION: 44567 Pinetree Drive, Plymouth, MI 48170 as primary location with other locations as assigned AVAILABILITY: Weekdays, some Evenings, some flexibility required SALARY RANGE: TBD BENEFITS: Full DESCRIPTION: First Step Survivor Advocates are compassionate, empathetic, caring, engaging, and team-oriented individuals responsible for providing professional advocacy and short-term crisis intervention counseling services to survivors of domestic and/or sexualized violence. Ability to compile and document accurate monthly service data is essential. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree preferred in social work or related human service field, with experience working with families impacted by domestic and/or sexual violence; ability to work successfully with diverse populations; match with agency mission, philosophy, strategic priorities, and core competencies essential; Bilingual, a plus; ability to work a flexible schedule; strong written and verbal communication skills; valid MI driver's license; good driving record; reliable insured transportation.
