EMILY?s List is a political action committee working to help elect pro-choice Democratic women to office with over one million members in its community. EMILY?s List is supporting an unprecedented 11 Senate candidates in the upcoming election – one third of the open seats. EMILY?s List raised $38.5 million in the 2009-2010 election cycle. Why should I intern at EMILY?s List? Interns have the opportunity to do substantive work, while gaining in-depth experience in the political sector. EMILY?s List offers full- and part-time internships in the following departments: Communications Development * Major Gifts * Majority Council * Marketing Executive Office Finance/Administration New Media Political * Campaign Services/Training * Political Opportunities Program (POP) Research WOMEN VOTE! Applicant Requirements: Because of the crucial role interns play in our organization, we ask that applicants have excellent written and oral communication skills. Good judgment and an ability to maintain confidentiality are also a must. How to Apply: Applications for fall 2012 internships will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
