USAction, and its sister organization, USAction Education Fund, run national issue campaigns in conjunction with its 22 state affiliates and partners. The Field Assistant will assist and support the National Field Director and regional field director staff in a variety of ways and capacities. The field assistant will maintain and develop systems that track and report on a broad range of campaign activities and contracted work. The assistant is also responsible for materials preparation, some direct campaign support, meeting support, and affiliate communication.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least two years? experience in grassroots or issue advocacy organizations and a commitment to social and economic justice. Qualified candidates need to possess excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and administrative skills.
