Thank you! ======================================== - Blogger Coordinator: As a member of the Online & Marketing Team, the blogger coordinator is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring bloggers. This person will also assign, collect, and edit posts, and will work with the research team to ensure that bloggers stay abreast of research publications related to multiculturalism and mental health. This role is ideal for someone who is a good collaborator, outgoing, well-organized, calm, strategic, creative, and interested in mentoring students. - Nonprofit Coordinator: The Nonprofit Coordinator will be part of the Outreach Team, and will connect with other nonprofits through research, networking, and coordinating meetings with other nonprofits. This role will work closely with the Grant Researcher/Writer. This is a great position for someone with an outgoing personality who enjoys making connections between people and groups. This role requires an awareness of the missions of many different kinds of Los Angeles organizations. - Community Events Coordinator: As a member of the Outreach Team, the Community Events Coordinator will stay abreast of important events happening in the community, and orchestrate events for the community (networking events, etc). This is a great position for someone with an outgoing personality who enjoys attending events, a schedule that accommodates event attendance, and an awareness of and connection to many different Los Angeles organizations. - Social Networking Coordinator: As a member of the Online & Marketing Team, the Social Networking Coordinator is responsible for posting and maintaining profiles on social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc). This role is ideal for someone who is tech savvy, enjoys social media and time on the computer, and intuits creative ways to connect with others to deliver a message. - Online Coordinator: As a member of the Online & Marketing Team, the Online Coordinator is responsible for telling our story in terms of human impact. S/he will organize and execute updates the website regularly (blogs, calendar, etc) and assure that our messaging is consistent across messaging platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is tech savvy and well- organized. - Research Team: Members of the research team are responsible for stay abreast of research publications related to multiculturalism and mental health. The team will also identify potential educators/presenters to lead workshops in the community. This role is ideal for those who like to geek out on research and make connections with educators. - Administrator: The Administrator will be responsible for much of the set up of the organization (i.e. creating systems) and general organizational coordination (i.e. bills, calendar, general paperwork, ordering supplies, filing, account management, healthcare for employees). S/he will also run errands, help coordinate events (fundraising, educational, and networking), and maintain an overview-perspective of the organization to assure our brand is communicated consistently. This role is ideal for someone who is well-organized, calm, strategic, creative, and good at balancing the needs of several people with grace. - Schedule Coordinator: As a member of the Education Team, the Schedule Coordinator will create and maintain a schedule of events for the educational branch of the organization, contact potential panelists, and work with the blogger coordinator to synchronize monthly topics. This role is ideal for someone who is a good communicator, well-organized, calm, strategic, and creative. - Certification Coordinator: As a member of the Education Team, the Certification Coordinator will identify and apply for certification with multiple agencies (APPIC, APA, CEU, etc). This role is ideal for someone who is well-organized, calm, strategic, and detail-oriented. - Recruiting Advisor: As a member of the Outreach Team, the Recruiting Advisor will research options for stipends, loan forgiveness, and other incentives for members of our organization. This position will function as a career advisor of sorts, and will be aware of programs that grant incentives for their volunteer work, qualifications that need to be met, and application procedures. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, enjoys helping others better themselves, and will benefit from such a program as well. As the job expands, this person has the opportunity to create and lead a team. - Accountant - Bloggers: We want our website to be a place where people go to find out about and engage in current dialogs, events, books, films, news, etc related to multiculturalism and mental health. So, we are looking to have a diverse array of blogs...some research based, some opinion, some features. We are also looking to have volunteer "commenters" to spark discussions about other blogs on our website and keep the ball rolling. If you have a way with words and have an interest in multiculturalism, please apply! - Fundraiser: The Fundraiser will network, solicit potential donors, plan fundraising events, blog about CARE's impact, and maintain a message consistent with the brand. This role is ideal for someone who has a fundraising background, is well-connected, emotionally balanced, strategic, creative, and good at balancing the needs of several people with grace. - "Free Stuff" Finder As a part of the Outreach Team, this person will be mentored to identify and applies for grants and free items available to our organization through various channels (government, other non-profits, corporations, etc) and complete any necessary paperwork to make that happen. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, well-organized, strategic, creative, and outgoing. |
