| Description: | The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) is seeking graduating seniors and recent college graduates to organize at two- and four-year campuses on the West Coast for the Feminist Majority Foundation's innovative Choices Campus Leadership Program. Working out of FMF's Los Angeles office, the National Campus Organizer works with student activists and feminist faculty at campuses in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The Campus Organizer launches and maintains pro-choice, feminist activist groups called Feminist Majority Leadership Alliances and affiliate groups by other names; implements FMF's campus campaign, called Choices; and conducts leadership and issue-based training for student activists. The position involves field travel to campuses on the West Coast and/or nationally (up to 8 weeks of travel each semester) and regular correspondence and interaction with students and faculty throughout the western region. Campus Organizers have the opportunity to: ?Serve as lead organizers on a grassroots level ?Gain first-hand experience with a national feminist organization ?Train the next generation of feminist leaders ?Shape national, pro-choice, civil rights and feminist campus campaigns QUALIFICATIONS AND APPLICATION Successful candidates will have a knowledge of and commitment to feminist and pro-choice issues, past activist and/or leadership experience on campus, a solid academic background, and the ability to communicate well with others. Field experience in Latina/Latino communities on or off the college campus, and fluency in Spanish is a plus.
