| Description: | Position Description - Legislative Screeners are responsible for the review and categorization of state legislation and regulations on topics such as mortgage banking, credit, or securities dealers. Ideal candidates will have a broad understanding of current affairs and can apply that knowledge to the reading, understanding and categorizing of legislation and regulations on both the state and federal level. Qualifications - Excellent reading comprehension skills with a strong ability to interpret complex and often confusing legislative and regulatory documents. In depth knowledge of current affairs and how that translates into public policy. Candidates with political science, public policy, library science degrees or legislative tracking experience are encouraged to apply. Location - On the Red Line @ Union Station, parking is not provided. This is a contract position. The rate is $10 an hour to start. These positions are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
