Advice for future interns: The fishbowl is the best office. Hang out there as much as possible.
Favorite experience at FMF: This intern survey, of course. But also writing and posting the news with the best news team ever, and anything involving Dr. Beth Jordan, who is incredible.
Favorite Choices Campus blog post: My post about the Regina Benjamin’s weight “controversy.” It’s a rare but treasured occasion when I get to be snarky about Tom Vilsack.
What does feminism mean to you?: F is for female, what most of us are. E is for excellence, we’re way above par. M is for misandrists, we promise we’re not. I is for inclusion, it’s what we’ve got. N is for non-partisan, because we’re a (c)3. I is for intelligence, as you can see. S is for sisterhood, because it’s our creed. T is for together, it’s how we’ll succeed.
Favorite quote/personal quote: “The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.” – Elizabeth Taylor
Favorite places in DC: Georgetown Cupcake and Hello! Cupcake. Plus Congress or whatever. But mostly the cupcake places.
Future plans: Hopefully law school/grad school for a dual JD/MPP. And then working for Bonnie Carlson’s presidential administration.
