Job Title: elp "Legitimately" Defeat Todd Akin - Field Organizer, MO Coordinated Campaign
Organization: Missouri Coordinated Campaign

Description: The Missouri Coordinated Campaign is seeking Field Organizers for the 2012 election. Organizers will be charged with implementing the campaign?s aggressive field plan in their assigned regions and delivering the margin of victory on a top-tier U.S. Senate race and other races across the state.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a perennial battleground state.

Responsibilities:
- Identifying, recruiting, training and supervising volunteers
- Coordinating and participating in direct voter contact programs to motivate and mobilize voters in key regions
- Meeting voter contact goals set by the Field Director
- Detailed regular reporting of regional activities and program results
- Representing the campaign at community events and meetings

Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the
ability to successfully relate to voters and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and in team
- Ability to work long and irregular hours as needed
- Basic computer literacy and database

Skills:
- Must have a car and driver's license
- One year of campaign experience or community organizing experience preferred but not necessary
