| Description: | Enola, PA The National Sexual Violence Resource Center serves as the nation's principle information and resource center regarding all aspects of sexual violence. It provides national leadership, consultation and technical assistance by generating and facilitating the development and flow of information on sexual violence intervention and prevention strategies. The NSVRC works to address the causes and impact of sexual violence through collaboration, prevention efforts and the distribution of resources. The National Sexual Violence Resource Center is currently accepting applications for a Communications Specialist. The NSVRC Communications Specialist assists the Communications Director in promoting the goals and objectives of the NSVRC through public relations, marketing, responding to media requests and initiating media contacts, participating in conferences and production of publications. The Communications Specialist coordinates the NSVRC?s semiannual newsletter; follows relevant news stories, prepares talking points, press releases, and other documents; reviews and edits publications; works with printers and other consultants; assists with graphic design of NSVRC materials; helps with Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and other campaigns; and ensures proper implementation of NSVRC-branded materials.
