| Description: | The Senior Director, Shared Services in the Information Services is a new position overseeing the growth and management of existing IS programs as well as the development of new services in support of our rapidly growing affiliates; especially in this changing healthcare environment (healthcare reform implementation). The Senior Director will work closely with the CIO, senior IS and affiliate level leadership in identifying and growing a shared technology service offering in support of the Federation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Responsibilities: - Develop a model for shared technology service offerings provided by the national office to Planned Parenthood affiliates. Establish service standards and success criteria for all programs/services. - Work closely with the CIO, senior IS and affiliate leadership to identify the opportunity and business need for new technology services. Create plan for development and delivery of top-priority services. - Develop high-level strategic goals for growth of each program/service and oversee execution of tactics to meet those goals. - Manage team of product owners to create and execute a sales plan for new and existing services. - Manage service quality and performance across all service lines. - Provide high-quality customer support for all product offerings. Manage ongoing, proactive communication with affiliate clients. - Manage and advise on the growth of existing programs as well as the development and distribution of new services. - Provide high-quality customer support for all product offerings. POSITION SCOPE - Scope will include the management and growth of existing programs -- Planned Parenthood's digital and social program, Planned Parenthood Online (PPOL) and the National Contact Center (NCC) -- as well as the development of new services. At present these include core IT services (infrastructure, network, end user and applications) and internal communication and collaboration products (intranet/extranet, Google Apps, CRM, admin applications.) - Responsible for the overall execution of the Shared Services department goals and the creation of related processes and work flows needed to ensure success. Constantly evaluates and recommends changes in strategy. - This position requires excellent people skills, in particular partnership and relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders. - Requires impeccable discretion, unflappable approach and behavior as well as excellent teaching and training abilities in managing a new team. |
