Kimberly S. Adams

Board Member

Dr. Kimberly S. Adams is an accomplished political scientist and activist with more than 20 years of experience in academia and the private sector. She is a highly skilled campaigner with demonstrated expertise in helping candidates assess and respond to political climates. She has a track record of success in publication and public speaking and served as a political analyst on national and local news programs. She has presented research and given over 100 talks across the world on women, race, and politics.

Adams is a member of numerous organizations including the National Conference of Black Political Scientists, the National Congress of Black Women, American News Women’s Club, AAUW, the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  Adams is a charter member of the National Museum of African American History and Culture and is a member of the general council for the Northeastern Political Science Association. She serves as a national board member for the National Organization for Women and is a member of NOW’s national political action committee (NOW PAC). She is also a board member of the Vote for Equality Super PAC and the Feminist Majority’s political action committee.
