The Afghan Islamic Press (AIP) reported Sunday that Afghan scholar Abdul Rahim Muslim Dost has offered $113 for U.S. President Bill Clinton’s head.
“If anyone kills Clinton I will pay a reward of five million afghanis ($113),” Dost was quoted as saying. “If America sets the price of Osama bin Laden at $5 million, then we can set the price of the American president at five million afghanis,” he threatened.
The United States has offered a five million dollar reward for the capture of Osama bin Laden, the man accused of masterminding the August 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. More than two hundred people were killed by the bombs. The Taliban is harboring bin Laden in Afghanistan and refers to him as their “honored guest.”
