The AFL-CIO’s Working Women department launched new Web site entitled, “Working Women Working Together,” http://www.aflcio.org/women yesterday. The site will focus on the important issues of child care, social security, women’s votes, and health care.
Also featured is an “Equal Pay” page where women can input their age, income level, and educational level to find out how much money they will lose over a lifetime because they are women. The “Equal Pay” page also includes actions that you can take to fight for pay equity.
