The Feminist Majority is proud to announce a critical all-women Rock for Choice concert in Los Angeles, CA, Friday April 6, 2001 to benefit theCampaign to Save Roe. The concert will be emceed by Laura Dern and feature performances by Melissa Etheridge, Paula Cole, The Bangles, and Mia Doi Todd, plus a special appearance by Sarah Mclachlan. More than 3,000 concertgoers are expected to attend. Rock for Choice mobilizes the music community to protect abortion rights and women?s health clinics. The project raises critical resources and gives young adults an opportunity to fight back by encouraging them to get educated and active in the fight for reproductive rights and to register to vote.
