Cain Regrets Calling House Democratic Leader “Princess Nancy”

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain indicated that he regrets calling US House of Representatives Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “Princess Nancy.” Cain told CNBC, “That was a statement that I obviously should not have made, but I was trying to make a point.”

During a Republican debate, Cain commented that “You didn’t hear about [an alternative to the healthcare reform bill] in the previous Congress because Princess Nancy sent it to committee and it stayed there.”

Herman Cain has been accused of having demonstrated suggestive sexual behavior towards at least four former employees during his tenure as CEO of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.
