Cerritos College Leadership Alliance Activists Use Homecoming to Promote Feminism

The Cerritos College Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance used their Homecoming events to spread the pro-choice message and promote feminism campus-wide. Leadership Alliance activist Claudia Geldis won the title of Homecoming Queen. Her platform on the campaign focused on eating disorders and women’s equality. The group also garnered the “Best Float” award for crafting a feminist-themed Homecoming Float based on the movie “Thelma and Louise.”
