Congratulations to the new Leadership Alliances and affiliates at the UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS AT BOSTON, UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHARLOTTE, EASTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY, SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY, SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY, OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY, and TEMPLE UNIVERSITY.
The SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY Leadership Alliance’s first general interest meeting was videotaped and aired on their campus television news station. For their first events, the UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS AT BOSTON FMLA organized a panel discussion with faculty to highlight women’s accomplishments and the importance of women’s history, hosted a panel on women’s reproductive health, and conducted a teach-in for the group about transgender issues.
