The FMLA at Frostburg University has organized a major weeklong series of events called “Seven Days of Disobedience.” The event kicked off on Monday with an International Women’s Day Forum Discussion co-sponsored by their Campus Amnesty International, and will concluded on Sunday, March 14th, with a petition drive to support the campaigns to show support for gay marriage and marriage equality.
In addition, the group will dedicate a day of this week to putting pressure on the FDA to make a swift decision on changing the status of Emergency Contraception to over-the-counter, encouraging students to send emails to the FDA!
