The UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSINÑGREEN BAY Leadership Alliance mobilized over 600 students, faculty, and staff to participate in a major visibility event and petition drive for on-campus day care. In response to findings from the University’s most recent Status of Women report, the FMLA is leading efforts on campus to draw attention to the fact that their campus is the only 4-year institution in the University of Wisconsin system that does not provide on-campus childcare. Following the group’s press release, the campus paper and three local TV stations covered the event.
