Man Distressed After Seeing Women In Men’s Restroom

The San Diego Supreme Court let stand a fine against a male lawyer who encountered women in the men’s restroom at San Diego’s Jack Murphy Stadium during a 1995 rock concert and attempted to bring a $5.4 million lawsuit against the city for alleged distress brought about by the incident.

Bob Glaser claimed the situation left him “angered, upset, embarrassed, distraught and (feeling) violated.”

Glaser’s civil rights lawsuit was ruled unreasonable by a federal judge and the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Glaser and his lawyer were ordered to pay $2,000 in sanctions to the city, as well as an additional $2,000 to a concessions company housed in the stadium who sold Glaser a beer which he blames for causing his trip to the restroom.
