Former senator Carol Moseley-Braun (D-IL) was appointed to a post with the Education Department on Tuesday.
As a part-time consultant, Moseley-Braun will organize outreach efforts on school construction issues within the Education Department’s Office of Intergovernmental and Interagency Affairs. Moseley-Braun was offered as ambassadorship to New Zealand but declined the offer.
