The Ms. Foundation’s – annual “Take Your Daughter to Work Day 1999” will take place this Thursday, April 22nd. The theme for this “The Future Is Me” and includes a special focus on “dads and daughters.” According to the Ms. Foundation Web site, “While some people mistakenly believe Take Our Daughters To Work Day is a day for mothers and daughters at work, it’s a day for all adults to take a day to invest in our nation’s daughters.
Just as thousands of girls go to work with a caring adult other than a parent each year, so do thousands of girls go to work with a caring parent other than a mother!”
