The TRUMAN STATE FMLA recently organized a very successful Pay Equity Bake Sale, a fundraiser that also raises awareness about the wage gap by selling goods in proportion to salary based on race and gender. The group has hosted many events this semester, including an educational panel discussion on emergency contraception (EC) and reproductive rights.
