The benefit concert ZPG Rocks Women in Music: 1960 – 1999 is scheduled for January 25, 1999 in Madison Square Garden.
The concert will host a compilation of current artists performing with their idols and mentors. Featured artists include Jewel, Paula Cole, Janis Ian Phoebe Snow, Chaka Khan, Helen Reddy, Judy Collins, and other special guests.
Women in Music will benefit ZPG’s Turner/Fonda Project which encourages and works to ensure women have access to education, employment, and family planning services. The project also aims to involve young people in current events.
Tickets for the New York concert can be purchased through the Garden box office and Ticketmaster.
