Women’s Online Service Celebrates Take Our Daughters to Work Day

XOOM, an internet company, is celebrating the Ms. Foundation for Women’s annual Take Our Daughters to Work Day, and the launching of its Women’s Circle Community by offering 100 copies of the new book, Girls Seen and Heard: 52 Life Lessons for Our Daughters.

The book, published by Ms. Magazine, is an interactive manual designed to “transform the lessons” of the popular Take Our Daughters to Work Day campaign.

The XOOM Women’s Circle Community is designed to provide women a space to “congregate and share ideas.” Membership privileges include, free personal homepages, HTML classes, access to 75,000 graphics, sounds and images, and access to forum chat rooms on women-related topics.

Copies of the book will be given to 100 women who join and post a homepage at the XOOM Women’s Circle Community by midnight tonight. Winners will be picked from a random drawing.
